Not the latest release, I installed the previous version. But I have not
installed unbuntu (gnome version) so I could not tell you if its is
different. But according to the blurb I have read all the bits underneath are
the same it just your chosen gui which is different. Maybe with the latest
version they are drifting apart but I can't see that will make life easy for
Ubuntu, maybe they will drop the less favoured gui version???

I only installed it on a test machine to try something out so I don't have it
any longer. The one thing that bugged me was no root users but you had to use
sudo, it drove me mad.
