The run from CD, Live Ubuntu-PPC, booted and failed in the end with no x 
windows. Trying (let me see now) plan f now..... seeing if it will work with the 
Install CD for Ubuntu-PPC.

Yeppers Sudo-anything_and_everything  ...
every time u want to scratch .. something ..
is a real pain.
