Hello everybody,

here some info about "the community that helps people to install and run
Linux":

In November, we had 17320 visits to LinuxBasics.org, that's only 250
less than in october when we were announced on many news-sites! (not
counting search-engines and bots). (avg. 577 per day, high: 1540 11/27,
low: 235 11/19).

We had another peak in visitors when desktoplinux.com announced the course.

Visitors came from:
"Unknown", .net, .com, Malaysia, Czech Republic, Canada, Netherlands,
Slovak Republic, Germany, .edu, Australia, Belgium, United Kingdom,
Finland, Israel, Romania, Italy, Portugal, Sweden, .mil, Turkey,
Croatia, Singapore, France, India, Greece, Denmark, New Zealand, .org,

Morocco, Austria, Japan, United Arab Emirates, Colombia, Peru, Cayman
Islands, Argentina, Spain, Ireland, Lithuania, Saudi Arabia, Russian
Federation, Dominican Republic, Fiji, Thailand, South Africa, Taiwan,
Cyprus, Yugoslavia, .int, China, Sri Lanka, Philippines, Ukraine,

(24.5%), Apple Mac (1.4%), Sun Solaris, BSD, OS/2, SymbianOS, CPM (???),
HP UX

And they use the following browsers:
Firefox (46.6%), MSIE (18.2%), wget (16.1), Mozilla (4.1%), Unknown
(6.9%), Konqueror (2.5%), Opera (3.4%), Safari (0.4%)

There was heavy use of "wget" this month. I guess a lot of people
grabbed the LBook (or the whole site) for offline viewing or their
personal archives.

List traffic has focused mostly around the new course.
This November, 523 Members have posted 552 messages.
(Keep going, folks!)

I thought this might interest you,
