"Hi, This is my first post, Be indulgent please.

I have an old Matrox G400 32 MB video card and the card is not
configured properly under Ubuntu Linux 6.10 in other terms i can not
change the resolution within Gnome Desktop Manager, I am limited to
800x600 or 1280x1024 but this is working perfectly under Mandriva 2007
Powerpack, also i have a Logitech Cordless I-Touch Keyboard Y-RB6 who
works perfectly under Ubuntu but did not work properly under Mandriva
2007 Powerpack. I can not augment the volume but the mute and the
decrease button work. Is it possible for me or some one else to fix
those 2 bugs so both distributions works properly with my hardware.

Thanks Ghislain Laframboise."

You can try the following. Be sure to answer all the questions and pick all
the screen resolutions your monitor will support.

sudo dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg
