Hi gang,

Sometimes you read something and you just don't get it. I know 
that happens to me on occasion. My solution is to try to find 
another explanation of the same concept by a different person. 
They use different words or examples so sometimes you can twig 
onto what is going on.

I found this on-line book which explained file systems in a way I 
hadn't seen before and now it makes a lot more sense to me.

The whole book is at:

is called "The Linux System Administrator's Guide."

Chapter 3 is what helped on the file systems for me.
