that was the dance I had to do when I was using Sid, and then one of my daily 
upgrades blew that out of the water so I just decided it wasn't worth the 
effort. All it did was allow some games and screen savers that the 2d didn't, shrug.

perhaps I will, but I did notice in Vista the MS supplied Nvidia drivers for the 
TNT2/M64 card did not allow for the 3d screen savers, so perhaps it's not capable?

they were in x

Note they have stopped as I have replaced the TNT2 with the TNT2/M64 card (both 
32mb) (I have a junk box with lots of 8mb-16mb video cards, but only two or 
three 32mb cards)
