Hello everybody,

here some info about "the community that helps people to install and run
Linux":

In May, we had 3975 visits to LinuxBasics.org (not counting
search-engines and bots). (avg. 128,23 per day, high: 188 05/05, low: 89 
05/21)

Visitors came from:
.com, .net, unknown, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, France, Canada, 
United Kingdom, Netherlands, Malaysia, Sweden, .org, .edu, Greece, 
Italy, Switzerland, India, .mil, Poland, Austria, Denmark, Portugal, 
Brazil, Ireland, Belgium, Japan, Czech Republic, Mexico, .arpa, Finland, 
Spain, Norway, Yugoslavia, Argentina, Turkey, Israel, Philippines, 
Bulgaria, Brunei Darussalam, Sri Lanka, Hungary, .gov, Venezuela, 
Romania, Indonesia, Estonia, Greenland, Singapore, .info, Peru, Hong 
Kong, .us, Russian Federation, Uruguay, Slovak Republic, Morocco, 
Slovenia, Colombia, Cocos (Keeling) Islands, Thailand, Lithuania, 
Moldova, Taiwan, Dominican Republic, Iceland, South Africa, Luxembourg, 
South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Croatia

Visitor use the following OS:
Windows (50,1%), Linux (27.5%), Unknown (20.3%), Apple Mac (1.8%), Sun 
Solaris, BSD, Symbian OS and RISC OS

And they use the following browsers:
Firefox (42.9%), MSIE (23.8%), Mozilla (14.8%), Unknown (9.3%), 
Konqueror (3.2%), Opera (3.0%), Safari (0.8%)
Below 1%: RSS Bandit (RSS Reader), Camino, Epiphany, NetNewsWire (RSS 
Reader), Links, Wget, Dillo, 	FeedDemon (RSS Reader), Lynx, w3m, XMMS 
(media player)

I note especially that there have been people accessing LBo using 
textmode browsers (some 30 pages/month!).

List traffic has been very slow. This April,  70 Members have posted 30
messages. (But during the last days, discussion has picked up, good 
going, folks!)
