Sometimes I (or someone else) will write something to the effect of "the 
UNIX-way to do things is..."
Take these statements as addintional background information, NOT as the 
only way to do things. It's the UNIX-way to have small tools which can 
be combined in a multitude of ways - so who would I be to say "unpure!".

Also, sometimes I go off and rant about "the bad guys", "the stubborn 
hardware manufactorers" or whoever. Don't take these rants personnally, 
even if you are working for MS and/or are manufactoring hardware. 
Usually, I am talking about the whole "breed" and not individuals :)

I am glad that traffic on the list picked up again. Let's keep it that 
way without the fear of being "flamed". This is what LBo is for. Users 
helping users. No question is too easy, no solution is wrong (as long as 
it works :)
