I assume you entered the access-details (accountname and password) for 
the internet provider into that router and this Router does the actual 
internet-connectio for you. So the Provider and the technique you use 
(DSL, cable, whatever) should not matter at all.

These are a lot of causes for error we do NOT need to cope with. Good.

So all we need to do (hehehe) is to hook up your Suse to the network.
Open a shell and enter the command "ping 192.168.123.254". If it reports 
  something like:

"64 bytes from 192.168.123.254: icmp_seq=1 ttl=250 time=0.671 ms"

then we are in good shape and you should get the information that Lonnie 
requested (from DOS/Windows).

If the ping gives you an error, post it to the list, so we can "step you 
through" on this.
