Lynn,

You need to try what others have suggested. I don't use Suse and don't
do the graphical configurations so the only way I can help you is
through the command line.

I think you are using KDE so go the the K menu, then system and open
the terminal program. Type the following commands in one at a time and
post the output.

/sbin/ifconfig -a
route
cat /etc/resolv.conf

<my rant>
If anyone (individual or company) thinks they can depend on Novell or
Red Hat they are sure to be disappointed. I know this from experience.
Not mine but companies I've worked for.
