I used the GUI - Policy [tab 3 ] Editing "Outbound Traffic Policy", which is
set to "permissive" by default. Right click "Deny connections to host" + add
rule IP, Host or Network "84.53.142.0-84.53.142.255" - does this setting
exclude the whole network?. If I "deny" a single address in this range, I
just get a connection to a different address in the range!
I am really more concerned to know the reason for this connection -
every time I load a web-page into Firefox , Firestarter shows that page's URL
under "Active Connections" plus a connection to 84.53.142.*
I was wondering if I had picked up some sort of "tracker/reporting" bug?
I don't seem to get the same behaviour if I load the same pages in Konqueror.
Thanks,
Geoff.
