[LBo] Making corrections on a web site.

Hi all,

I have volunteered to keep one website updated and am attempting to
totally rebuild another site.

Thus far, since they were built using MS programs, I have been trying to
keep the one site updated using MS Frontpage, which I have available at
work. I have managed to do a fairly decent job of getting the main
pages updated, but in the process, I have managed to loss all of the
links to other pages.

On this box I have both Bluefish and Nvu installed. I have managed to
fix the links using both editors, but have not been able to get the
updated information to the web hosting site.

Nvu has an option for publishing the page, but doesn't jump through the
username and password hoops, so doesn't publish. Bluefish does not
offer any thing for syncing or publishing, and being the total newbie
that I am with this web stuff, any help would be appreciated.

I would assume that Bluefish uses ftp for file transfer, and I know how
to spell that fairly well, but that is about it.

I am fairly sure that I have figured out how to make the needed
corrections to the web pages and that I can get it working properly
using Frontpage. However, I would very much prefer to be able to use
Bluefish for my main html editor. So, I need to find/figure out how to
upload the corrections after I have made and tested them.

If you could point me in the right direction, toward something that is
simple to understand, with some real life examples, I would be very
grateful.

Thanks,

Lonnie
