CMS are available in many varieties. Depending on what you want to do
with the site.

I am using DokuWiki (for the hotel's site - the modified version of
DokuWiki from LBo, so I can style it as I want) and Wordpress (for
blogging).

While wikis and blogs are not 'classic CMS', they serve my purpose well.

I have tried Plone, Joomla and Typo3, which are more regular CMS. They
are ok, but were "too big" for what I wanted. (IIRC, just add .org to
the name, and you have their sites :)

SAPID (http://sapid.sourceforge.net/) sure looks like a nice addition to
the GPL-CMS scene :)

As a shop-system, I have found a pointer to http://oscommerce.org/ which
looks quite professional, but I have not tried it.

Not exactly what you asked for, but might give you some pointers.

Stefan
