I was going through the exercises and I got stumped at Q1 in Section 2.5.4. I've checked and rechecked but I can't see a file called inittab in my /etc directory. Running Ubuntu 6.10 Edgy Eft. Do I need better optical equipment :-) or is this file not common to all distributions? regards Simon
