[LBo] Microsoft to do a Linux deal with Novell

Microsoft is entering into a partnership with rival Novell
involving Windows and Novell's rival Suse Linux operating
system, a source familiar with the situation said. Microsoft
CEO Steve Ballmer and Novell CEO Ron Hovsepian will to
announce details of their plan Thursday afternoon at a news
conference in San Francisco, the source said.
