When using wireless you need only follow a few basic procedures to make it secure enough that it would take the NSA or a group of "leet uber hackers". First off use WPA encrytpion- and a long key length - also make sure the key is a mixture of upper and lower case, numbers and other characters. The scare stories of the vulnerability of wireless are much exagerated. If you want more details I suggest heading over to www.grc.com and checking out the "Security Now" podcast on this topic. It really is very good.
