I am sure there are a variety of mindsets here. While this may bring 
Linux more into the limelight there are also those that think like Jim. 
At this point I am glad that my installation of Suse failed. It is just 
hard for me to believe that M$ is not going to try to suck every dollar 
they can out of this and once they get their hooks into it who knows 
what will become of it all.

There are a lot of things that could come from this, but what? Who will 
bend to meet who in the compatibility arena? Will more manufacturers 
release drivers or at least make the code available so the drivers can 
be developed, and on and on...
