I've been happy with my Mitsubishi DiamondPoint V71LCD.  I didn't do
anything special when I changed over to using it as I recall.  I might
have reset the Horiz and Vert rates back then, but I don't see anything
special in xorg.conf now.  I got it when I was still using XFree86 and
have been through a reinstall since then.  X was configured just fine,
but I couldn't tell you if it is using any special drivers.  I don't
think it is.
