Background: Longtime mainframe geek with an abiding distrust of "The Evil 
Empire" and Darth Gates dating to my membership in a Windows NT Security 
mailing list from MS. 

Objective(s): Learning to use the command line/shell level, though if I resolve 
a "Modem Busy" reply when configuring my Risq LT Winmodem in KPPP I can make 
OpenSuSE 10.1 my primary home OS (yea!).

How I got here: A desktoplinux.com article on SLED 10 had a Breaking News link 
regarding this class.
