[LBo] Introduction

Morning all (7.22am here)

writing from Singapore which is in the +8hr timezone

after reading all of the introduction I definitely feel pressured, most
that says that you are "newbie" have actually years of computer or
programming knowledge. :-)


here goes,

I am a Linux newbie with no computer training background. Computer used
to be a working tool but is now a "hobby". Have been struggling with
Linux (openSUSE 10.1 with KDE) for the past few months and intend to
keep it permanently on my computer.

First time in an online training/meeting and didn't really know what to
expect or how to proceed.

Understand from Stefan's reply to Ken that there is a chat and really
hope that I can join in the chat when the class starts.
By the way, I had tried once to go on IRC chat and is totally lost :-)
