Hi,
My name is Sean and I am a teacher at a Christian school in
Lethbridge, Alberta. I have been dabbiling in Linux over the past few
months as our network at school (for which I am partially responsible
for) runs with linux server and XP terminals. I decided to try Linux
out at home and have been trying to get my wireless network adapter to
work.
I have tried to read and follow the description of how to use
NDISwrapper, but I find it extremely diffiicult that I need to read,
restart into linux, restart into windoze, restart into linux ... I
have also not found too much information on my particular card on the
internet. I am running Ubuntu 2.6.15 and my wireless card is a
Linksys WMP54GX. I found quite abit of info about the WMP54G, but not
mine. Is there someone who can help describe to me how NDISwrapper
works, how to install it on my linux and finally how to get my driver
to work with it?
Thanks,
Sean
