Anita,

I 'm sorry I must have done something wrong, I tried again and grub
came up with 2 replies, one was (hdo, 10) the other (hd0, 4) I
figured that SuSE was on (hd0, 4) I then wrote find (hd0, 4) boot /
vml. but got the usual screen 'rotnoverify (hd0,0) chainloader +1'

The 2nd time I decided to use e to edit selected command in the boot
sequence and the same error, this time with a blue screen.

I have been googling and found the following: If you have the install
CD's (SuSE) the easiest way to fix this is to boot from cd. When you
get to the window with Type of install, select the button marked
Other. This will take you into a suite of system repair utilities,
one of which is to rebuild GRUB.

I can boot into Fedora no problems there.

Many thanks.
