[LBo] Amarok won't start

What distro and version do you have?

The fact that you aren't getting a new commandline prompt, indicates 
that maybe amarok is running in some way, I think.

What do you get with ps -aux |grep amarok?  I'm assuming amarok is the 
command to run it.
