[LBo] Amarok won't start

If you are running KDE, then have a look at sysguard (normally installed by
default), this is a graphical view of the programs running and you can locate
each instance of amarok and kill the process with it (simple point and
click).

Once you have killed off all instances of amarok, start amarok from the
command line just to check that its not gewtting upset when it starts.

When I get a problem with a program I sometimes find logging out of KDE helps
clear out any stray process (if they are connected to running in KDE), this
assumes that your system boots to the commandline and then you start "X"
manually

On my box clicking amarok for the firt time will open it like any other
program, but if I click the "X" in the top right, the program disappears and
an icon sits in the systray, if you want to close a,arok completely you have
to click on "Quit" from the engage menu of right click on the icon in the
system tray and select quit
