I think the point Sam was trying to make is that getting a running
system with Linux is easier than doing so with the proprietary
alternatives. I have done literally hundreds of installs of W2K and XP
over the years. None of them have taken less than an hour to get a
running box with a comparable suite of software to the Linux system cited.
