Sounds like it could be a BIOS issue. Try rebooting and trap the POST
process by hitting the 'Del' key to get into the BIOS setup. Then look
for a setting something like "Halt On Keyboard Error" and change it to
"Ignore All Errors". (Your BIOS terminology may be sightly different.)
