It's interesting that you mention Copfilter. I've been using it w/ ipcop for
probably close to a year at this point and it is very nice. You could probably
get away with not using the AV of it with Linux boxes, however, it's a nice
gateway level solution to help keep the nasties out of any Windows boxen on
your network. I especially like that you can combine clamav and fprot for your
AV solution if you are a home user (businesses need to buy fprot) and that it
can be done transparently so you don't need to do any configuration on the
client side.
