I know this is tooo old but i will say something,
Ray u right, and maybe u guys should know that windows has what is called
PAGING MEMORY, which is like SWAP MEMORY in linux, so the default is usuall
300MB - 700MB depending on the free space windows first registers after
installation. so it is normal to have .5G -> 1.5GB.
And about processor figure changes, yes that is power saving but it also
depends on the processor u r using, like that will happen in Pentium M for
others, its not so common.
About the jerky issue, Windows is fake, to most of us, u need to do alot of
TWEAKING for u to get the best of it, thought it has the highest number of
applications. How every if u still have the same problem, i think u try using
TUNEUP UTILITIES 2007, or 06. if that fails try unistalling the keyboard and
mouse from the device manager, and reboot. it will reinstall a new driver
for them.
I really don't have good experience in windows, but i guess that helps.
Nice time
