Having just read an article on the aspects of social engineering being such a
huge part of many hacks now on the internet. I am inclined to agree with Anita's
cautious reaction. So, I did a little research on "fasterfox" and found that it
is featured on Mozilla's addons pages:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1269

also there is a little more indepth explanation of what it is and does:
http://fasterfox.mozdev.org/

and I found a site I was unaware of that has tested it and gives their seal of
approval that it is "clean of any form of badware (viruses, spyware, adware, etc.)"
http://www.download3k.com/Antivirus-Report-Fasterfox.html

so I might consider installing it. Although, I don't really understand why it
needed another download site: http://www.wikifortio.com when there are already
many other sites that have copies of it available. Someone could alter it and
place the altered version somewhere for download....... Guess you got me in a
suspicious mood this morning Anita.

I'll just say thanks for your effort and kind offer Robin, and suggest that
perhaps in the future you might simply point folks toward an already available
download site. No offense intended, but we are just trying to exercise a little
caution here on the list.
