[LBo] wireless choices

I was continuing my search for a distro that would work with my wifi
devices. While downloading the latest betas of Mepis and Mandriva I
decided to play around some more with OpenSUSE 10.3b2. Surprisingly, I
got an IP address from DHCP. After a little more playing around with
network settings, I was actually able to use the Internet via my D-Link
WUA-1340 (usb) with ndiswrapper. I could've sworn that I didn't really
change anything from my previous tests - and yet the undeniable proof is
that it is now working.

I realize that my success with wireless in this situation doesn't mean
much to the members of this list, but I wanted to reassure those who
were struggling to come up with a solution for me. I still wish that
wireless configuration would be simpler for the average user.

Thank you very much for your help.
....Gregg
