Hello everybody,

here some info about "the community that helps people to install and run
Linux":

In December, we had 17987 visits to LinuxBasics.org. (not counting 
search-engines and bots). (avg. 580.2 per day, high: 837 12/07,
low: 331 12/24 - what a surprise :).

We did not have any day "in the thousands" like the previous months, but 
it pleases me to see that there is steady traffic above 500 visitors a 
day - except during the holidays.

Visitors came from:
"Unknown", .net, .com, Australia, Netherlands, Germany, Finland, United 
Kingdom, Canada, Malaysia, Italy, France, Belgium, India, Slovak 
Republic, Romania, Croatia, Czech Republic, Mozambique, Greece, Israel,

Vietnam, .mil, Mexico, .gov, Denmark, Thailand, Pakistan, Norway, 
Singapore, Japan, .us, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Argentina, Old style 
Arpanet, .local, Aruba, Oman, Estonia, Zimbabwe, Yugoslavia, Trinidad

Visitor use the following OS:
Windows (47.3%), Linux (22.9%), Unknown (which I believe is Linux, too)
(28.3%), Apple Mac (0.9%), Sun Solaris, BSD, SymbianOS

And they use the following browsers:
Firefox (40.2%), Unknown (26.6%), MSIE (20.3%), Mozilla (5%), Konqueror 
(2.7%), Opera (2.5%), Safari (0.3%), Netscape (0.2%)

Membership on the list dropped a little, but that is normal after the 
big rush we got in October and November.
This December, 505 Members have posted 302 messages.
