Is it me or are other seeing holes in this guys story??

Firstly let me state and in no way trying to justify microsoft licencing or
anything else microsoft in this story.

Fisrt the guy reguarly setup up branch office for his customer, yet it the
first time he finds he can't reload XP from the recovery disk to the newly
installed raid (and why was he doing this at the customer premises, this sort
of work should be done in your own workshop before arriving at the company
site)??

Why did he not choose a suitably spec-ed PC if he knew he had to rip it apart
and void not only MS OEM licence but also HP licence to install the raid

He used the raid setup in the past yet has never noticed that there are no
drivers on the CD, so how did he do it in the past.

While I agree it show how locked in and stupid the MS OEM licence is I think
this story is more hype than fact and this is certainly not what Linux needs.

Linux has the power, performance and stability to stand on its own without the
over glorified hype that this users is pretending he has found, stories like
this should be filed under r for rubbish bin.

Now before anybody trys to roast me please re-read my paragraph, I am not
supporting MS only stating what a load of codswallop this story is.

Tim
