I don't think that it was an omission. I think it was more a deliberate 
unconscious decision.  There was a point at which Fedora Core was pretty 
instable and not a system to recommend to newbies, and as for Suse, their 
new plan to work with Windows leaves us wondering where this is all going to 
lead. 

But, as you say, if there are any volunteers, why not.  LBo believes that 
there are no sacred cows, after all...
