Correction....

Fedora is the testbed of RedHat.  While it is free it is the bleeding edge 
distro and things can still go wrong.  And let us not forget that forced 
upgrade because it's a test bed.

If you are looking for the latest free version of RedHat then I would suggest 
you look at CentOS.  CentOS is built off the SRPM's from RedHat
