Wow, thanks so much for reporting back on this, Rob!  I'll include this
somewhere in our "missing Windows" page.  Another twist to the
possibility of things that can't be fixed in grub alone.  We really
appreciate your supplying the solution.  I hope we will see more of you
here if you have the time and inclination.
