Somebody was asking on IRC last night how to contribute to Linux projects.
This is a very large question, as contributions can vary from
translations, to art, to coding, to debugging, etc. The imagination, or
the proverbian sky, is the limit.
An example, however, for the Ubuntu fans, is:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/BugSquad
"There are in fact no requirements for joining the team. You don't need
to be an expert on packaging and programming. In fact, this is one of
the best ways to help Ubuntu if you can't program / package at all. All
you need is a lot of love for Ubuntu. "
Most distributions have a BugSquad, or hold "Squash parties" or the
equivalent. Check with google, should you be interested.
