[LBo] Fedora core 3 Sata Driver

Ok, big problem now. 

In 1 of the servers i had to put another hdd(3rd). 

i have 2 on PATA and this one on SATA. 

Although in bios i see the hdd perfectly, linux
doesn`t want to recognize it. 

I recompiled the kernel, i`ve downloaded the latest
Sis  driver for SATA(its a server with celeron and sis
chipset) but it wont recognize it. 

On another server(wich i cant shutdown for many
reasons) i have SATA hdds /dev/SDA2,3, etc . 

I presume that, if i did everything right, the problem
could be from the motherboard. 

Any sugestions about what should i try next?

Libata wont work, already tryed that.
