Not all systems tell you when the CMOS battery is low so the 
first thing you need to do is replace your BIOS CMOS battery. 
Then use the jumper to reset the BIOS CMOS to factory default. 
After that set up the BIOS the way you want it.

Then check the stability of the reports on your system by booting 
and powering down several times. If they still jump around then 
the issue is likely software, but where I'm not sure.
