[LBo] Xubuntu 7.04

Hello all,

I'm running Xubuntu 7.04 on an older (Celeron 300A with just over 400mb of
ram) home built computer.  Prior to installing Xubuntu, I ran Ubuntu 6.06.
Since upgrading to Xubuntu, the computer runs extremely slow.  When I did
the install, I set the swap drive on a separate physical drive that is
500mb.  I'm wondering if having the swap on a different drive is affecting
the speed, or if Xubuntu 7.04 is just too bloated for this old PC?

If anyone has a recommendation for a lightweight distro, with a lightweight
GUI, please let me know.  The reason I switched from Ubuntu to Xubuntu is
because I understand XFCE is to be a lightweight GUI, but maybe I just don't
have enough resources.

A final note, I use this PC as a second PC, and for backing up from my main
PC running Ubuntu 6.10.
