I don't know that manufacturers would even think about a feature like
this. Many people do DVD rentals meaning that they wouldn't be watching
the same movie over and over. With scene selection putting you pretty
darn close, there really wouldn't be that much of a need. It's much
better than when storage was analog. I remember when you'd save data to
a cassette. :-)
