[LBo] Performance of Multiprocessor Systems

No it will not double the speed but if you are doing server aps or lots 
of math functions 2 cpu's are better on a microsoft server.  But from 
some of my old customer servers running linux and what we use at work 
with our linux systems we only use single processors.
