Debian Etch. I'm using it on all our clients of eleven public libraries 
here in South France. Here's a description how to setup a 
cholesterol-free no-bullshit desktop with the latest stable release:

Excuse my french :o)) There are a couple of screenshots, so you can 
figure out how it looks like. My gnome-core install eats less RAM than 
XFCE on Xubuntu (and any other XFCE-based distro). 70 MB with no 
application running.

Fast, crisp, clean, and as far as I'm concerned, as bug-free as my other 
PC (which runs Slackware :o))
