I can see the advantages of making separate partitions for things 
like /var, /usr/local, /<mydata>, and maybe a few others, but what are the 
advantages of making a separate /boot?  (Assuming the 1024 limit on whatever 
is no longer an issue--was that the original reason for a separate /boot?)
