[LBo] best distro for a server install

Hi, 

 

I know this question may have been asked umpteen times before, but what
would you guys recommend to be a good distribution for a server install ?

 

I am planning on using 

 

Apache

Samba 

Some email server I haven't researched yet.

 

I will be accessing it via PuTTY from a WinXP machine 

 

I have ubuntu server edition on CD, but before I put this on, I would be
interested to hear your views on this.
