For some people that is their only means of getting email. I think I'd
be okay with an employee being on a fairly low traffic mailing list if I
owned a company especially one such as this one that you can learn
something from. My thought is that it's not always about the bottom line
and time is money. Sometimes little things can keep morale up such as
this case. Of course, I don't own a company so I can't talk from
experience. :-)
