[LBo] Mepis 7 Pre Beta released (reposted as the first attempt got lost)

Hi Tim

Know this is kind of delayed...just havent had a chance to check this out until now.

Information about Mepis 7 is confusing.  Is it available at this time or is it still in the experimental stages.

As Mepis has been mention a few time over the last couple of days I thought it 
might be worth mentioning that Mepis 7 Pre Beta has been released(1), 
(actually 6.9.51prebeta)

The new version 7 has gone back to Debian(2) but will still use some Unbuntu 
sources

The current prebeta cd version is also a livecd which you can boot your PC 
from to test without commiting to installing

You can download from one of several downloads sites(3)
